<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrust slide bearing capable of inhibiting reduction in the oil amount of lubricating oil, which is caused by closing of oil grooves by an engagement part of a race member.SOLUTION: A thrust slide bering 1 comprises: a bearing member 4 having a ring shape and formed with a slide face 4a on one surface; oil grooves 13 formed to cross the slide face 4a; a race member 5 slidingly contacting with the slide face 4a of the bearing member 4; and an engagement part provided on the race member 5 and engaging with the side face or the rear face of the bearing member 4. The engagement part is formed as a plurality of engagement projections 5a provided on either the outer peripheral edge or the inner peripheral edge of the race member 5. Formation positions of the oil grooves 13 of the bearing member 4 and the engagement projections 5a of the race member 5 are so arranged that, when the opening part of any one oil groove 13 overlaps with any one engagement projection 5a and the oil groove 13 is closed, all other oil grooves 13 do not overlap with all other engagement projections 5a.</p> |
