<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage of a seal member of a separator tube forming an annular passage between a damper and a cylinder, and to support the separator tube in an axial direction.SOLUTION: A piston 5 to which a piston rod 6 is connected is inserted into a cylinder 2 in which oil is sealed, and the flow of the oil generated by moving the piston 5 is controlled by a damping force generation mechanism 25 to generate damping force. A separator tube 20 is provided along an outer circumference of the cylinder 2, and an annular passage 21 is formed. A cylinder upper chamber 2A and the annular passage 21 are communicated with each other by a passage groove 22 of a rod guide 8, and a passage penetrating a cylinder side wall can be dispensed with, and damage of an O ring 19 by an opening edge of the passage in fitting of the separator tube 20 can be prevented. The separator tube 20 is supported in an axial direction between an outer peripheral protrusion 52 of the cylinder 2 and the rod guide 8, and force acting on the separator tube by the pressure of the oil is prevented from being transmitted to the damping force generation mechanism 25.</p> |
