<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aromatic polyamide paper excellent in chemical resistance and moist heat resistance in addition to mechanical properties which the aromatic polyamide paper originally has.SOLUTION: There is provided an aromatic polyamide paper containing copolyparaphenylene 3,4'-oxydiphenylene terephthalamide pulp having an average thickness of 5μm to 20μm and a specific surface area of 0.5 m/g to 5.0 m/g, and having tensile strength retention rate after an immersion treatment in a 20 wt.% sulfate aqueous solution or 40 wt.% of aqueous sodium hydroxide for 24 hours of 60% or more of that before the treatment and the tensile strength retention rate after treatment under atmosphere of at humidity of 60% and temperature of 95°C for 24 hours of 80% or more of that before the treatment.</p> |
