<p>An image forming apparatus including: a user interface unit to display a user interface to select one or more low noise modes to reduce noise produced during a print standby state and a printing state of the image forming apparatus; and a controller to control the driving of a laser scanning unit and to control a print speed, according to one or more of the selected low noise modes selected through the user interface. Therefore, noise generated in the print standby state, and/or the printing state, are reduced, according to a low noise mode selected by a user.</p> |
