The present invention relates to a curtain apparatus installed on the wall of a window or a ceiling, wherein the curtain apparatus comprises: a box (13) installed on the wall of the window or the ceiling; two wheel bars having curtain position control strings (25, 25-1) and curtain length control strings (24, 24-1); two wheels (16, 18) having the wheel bars respectively and used for rotating the wheel bars; guide holes allowing the curtain position control strings and the curtain length control strings to pass therethrough and preventing the escapes of the curtain position control strings and the curtain length control strings from the positions thereof; rotating bars allowing the installed curtain position control strings and curtain length control strings to move lightly; and curtain hooks installed at the ends of the curtain position control strings and the curtain length control strings, and into which twin hooks (31) installed at the top and the bottom of a curtain respectively are installed to be inserted, wherein the wheel bars are to wind or unwind the curtain position control strings and the curtain length control strings which connect the curtain apparatus (rail) and the top and the bottom of the curtain respectively. According to the present invention, the upper side of a curtain is opened when the top of the curtain is moved downwards by unwinding curtain position control strings from wheel bars and the lower side is opened by winding curtain length control strings on the wheel bars so that the curtain can be closed to any required high, medium, or low position as much as a required length, and, as a result, stuffiness can be reduced by preventing the curtain from being closed to an area not required to be covered; an indoor space can be more brightened; air inside the indoor space can be quickly circulated by cold air which flows into the lower side of curtain from the outside and pushes hot air inside the indoor space upwards in order to allow the hot air to flow to the outside through the upper side of the curtain; and the curtain can be easily attached to or detached from a curtain apparatus.
