<p>PURPOSE: A reciprocating compressor is provided to limit the temperature increase of the sucked gas passing through a muffler by lowering the heat conductivity between the inside and the outside of the muffler by the hollowed particles contained in the muffler. CONSTITUTION: A reciprocating compressor(100) comprises a case(101), a compression unit(110), and a muffler unit(140). The case comprises a suction pipe and a discharge pipe and forms a closed space. The compression unit is located in the case, compresses and discharges the sucked fluid. The muffler unit guides the fluid sucked to the suction pipe to the compression unit and is composed of a hollowed-particles containing member. The muffler unit includes a polymer matrix member, a glass fiber, and hollowed particles. The polymer matrix member is formed with one of PBT(Polybutylene Terephthalate) and PPS(Poly Phenylene Sulfide) as a monomer. The hollowed particles comprise the hollowed powder of a ceramic material.</p> |
