PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air filter unit for a ventilation system that can effectively remove dust (PM2.5) and gas harmful to humans such as exhaust gas to keep the comfortability of a living space.SOLUTION: An air filter unit for a ventilation system is attached to a ventilation system that draws air into the inside of a room from the outside continuously for 24 hours. The air filter unit comprises: a gas removal filter that adsorbs and removes gas components included in air taken from the outside of the room by an intake fan of the ventilation system; and a dust removal filter that removes dust in the air from which the gas components are removed by the gas removal filter and has low pressure loss and high collection efficiency. The air from which the gas components and the dust are removed is passed to the inside of the room.
