PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorption type heat source device that enables stable liquid level control in entire load regions.SOLUTION: An absorption type heat source device for transferring heat by a cycle of a refrigerant and a solution comprises: a target component device 32A that includes a liquid storage portion 22 temporarily storing therein target liquids S (Sw, Sa) since introduction of the target component device 32A until extraction thereof; a liquid pump 38 that can adjust discharge flow volumes of the target liquids Sw using an inverter 38v; internal pressure detectors 28 and 65; a liquid level detector 23 that detects that a stored liquid level Lx of the target liquid Sa in the liquid storage portion 22 deviates from a standard liquid level; and a controller 65 transmitting a flow volume adjustment signal to the inverter 38v. The controller 65 transmits standard frequency according to internal pressure as operating frequency if the stored liquid level Lx is the standard liquid level, and transmits a value obtained by adding or subtracting a value to/from a detected correction frequency that is a first predetermined rate value of the standard frequency in a return direction as new operating frequency if the stored liquid level Lx deviates.
