Composite material comprising: (a) a melt blown fiber, wherein (i) said melt blown fiber comprises at least 85 wt.-% of a propylene copolymer having a comonomer content of 0.5 to 7.0 wt.-%, the comonomer is ethylene and/or at least one C4 to C20 α-olefin,(ii) optionally said melt blown fibers and/or said propylene copolymer has/have a melt flow rate MFR2 (230° C.) measured according to ISO 1133 of at least 200 g/10 min; and, (b) at least one fibrous substrate material, wherein the composite material comprises 1 to 30 wt.-% of the melt blow fiber and 70 to 99 wt.-% of the fibrous substrate material, based on the total weight of the composite material.
