PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently separate and reproduce a mixed bed ion exchange resin without increasing the amount of reproducing chemicals, needing specific arrangement or operation, further generating problems of odor and the like.SOLUTION: There is provided a method of separating and reproducing an ion exchange resin forming a mixed bed including bringing the ion exchange resin as a mixture condition into contact with ammonium hydrogen carbonate, then separating it into a cationic ion exchange resin layer and an anionic ion exchange resin layer by back washing, and bringing the respective resin layers into contact with a regenerant to reproduce. |
