PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion module in which wiring distance a converted electric signal goes is short and band deterioration does not occur even in the case where a rear incident PD is used.SOLUTION: A photoelectric conversion module comprises: a light-receiving element in which an input surface for receiving signal light and an output surface on which a terminal for outputting an electric signal converted from received signal light is arranged are placed opposite to each other; a transmission substrate on which a signal electrode into which the electric signal output from the light-receiving element is input is formed; and a relay electrode that is placed between the light-receiving element and the transmission substrate and that is for inputting the electric signal outputted from the light-receiving element into the signal electrode. The photoelectric conversion module also includes a supporting substrate that supports the light-receiving element. The supporting substrate comprises a step part. The relay electrode is made up of a via that penetrates through an upright wall of the step part and a plane electrode placed on a flat part of the step part. The light-receiving element is supported by the supporting substrate such that the terminal will be electrically connected with the via, and an electric signal output by the light-receiving element is input into the signal electrode through the via and the plane electrode. |
