PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a melt-blown polyurethane nonwoven fabric suitable for filtration of fine matters, in which a mean diameter of fibers is small, a variation in fiber diameters is small, and uniformity of fiber diameters is high.SOLUTION: The melt-blown polyurethane nonwoven fabric is composed of fibers having a mean diameter of 3μm or less and a coefficient of variation in fiber diameters of 50% or less, and preferably has an intrinsic viscosity of 0.40 or greater. Such a melt-blown polyurethane nonwoven fabric can be produced by a method for producing a nonwoven fabric including fiberizing polyurethane resin by melt-blowing through a melt-blow nozzle while irradiating the melt-blow nozzle with infrared rays to heat so that the temperature of the surface of the melt-blow nozzle becomes a temperature that is 30°C-60°C higher than that of the surface when it is not irradiated with infrared rays.
|
