<p>The present invention relates to an electrostatic coagulation apparatus for separating dispersed water droplets from continuous phase materials in an emulsion by electrostatic coagulation, and, more specifically, to an electrostatic coagulation apparatus for separating dispersed water droplets from continuous phase materials in an emulsion by electrostatic coagulation, which comprises an electrostatic coagulation part consisting of a high voltage plate insulated with an insulator on both sides of the moving route of the emulsion, and an earth plate corresponding to one side of the high voltage plate and arranged to be separated. The electrostatic coagulation apparatus can form an electric field enough to grow water droplets, and fundamentally blocks the electric current passage between electrodes due to the grown water droplets, which prevents malfunctions of the electrostatic apparatus due to short-circuit. Accordingly, water droplets are stably grown, a local electric field reduction is not caused, and a fixed electric field, not a variable electric field, can be also applied.</p> |
