PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a versatile compact electrolytic water generator qualifying as a compact and simple apparatus capable of electrolytically synthesizing, safely by using tap water or pure water as a raw ingredient without adding thereto a special electrolyte, an ozone gas, ozone-containing gas, and/or ozonated water and also of synthesizing hydrogen peroxide and unaccompanied not only by membrane congestion due to a scale but also by a washing burden because of the absence of an ion exchange membrane.SOLUTION: The provided compact electrolytic water generator is a compact electrolytic water generator for generating, by configuring a cathode for generating ozone and an anode in opposition to one another via a miniscule gap and by feeding raw water into the gap of the cathode for generating ozone and the anode so as to electrolyze the raw water, an ozone-containing electrolysis product from the cathode for generating ozone. The gap between the cathode and the anode is set at 10 μm to 100 μm. |
