<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cloth feeding detector, as a device used for detecting the amount of cloth feeding in a continuous cloth processing apparatus or the like, which enables the amount of cloth feeding of cloth being fed to be reliably and highly accurately detected; and to enable a processing start position and a processing end position on cloth W formed in a cylindrical shape to be reliably and highly accurately made coincident with each other while the cloth W is fed in such a way as to be rotated in a circumferential direction.SOLUTION: There is provided a cloth feeding detector including: a passive rotary body 40 which is arranged at a position close to cloth W to be fed while keeping a non-contact state with the cloth W and is held so as to be rotatable while following a cloth feeding direction; rotation transmission means 41 for energizing at least one of the passive rotary body 40 and the cloth W during cloth feeding in a direction in which both of them approach each other, thereby keeping them in a contact state; and a rotation amount detection section 42 for detecting the amount of rotation of the passive rotary body 40.</p> |
