An electrostimulation device (10) includes an implantable internal unit (12), which includes an array of electrodes (14) assembled on or in a housing (16), and affixing structure (28) for affixing the unit (12) with respect to a targeted anatomy of a patient. A microprocessor (20) is mounted in the housing (16) and in communication with the electrodes (14). A transceiver (22) is mounted in the housing (16) and in communication with the microprocessor (20). A power supply (26) provides power to the electrodes (14), the microprocessor (20) and the transceiver (22).
