Provided are a carbon dioxide adsorbent comprising a mesoporous inorganic oxide; a method for manufacturing the carbon dioxide adsorbent; an adsorbent module including the carbon dioxide adsorbent; and a method for separating carbon dioxide using the carbon dioxide adsorbent. The inorganic oxide has a crystalline alkali metal or alkaline-earth metal halogenide supported on the surface thereof, and a chemical species supported on the surface thereof and containing phosphorus (P), sulfur (S) and boron (B).
