APPARATUS FOR ENDOSCOPIC PROCEDURES A surgical device (100) is disclosed. The surgical device (100) includes: a jaw assembly including a first jaw and a second jaw moveable relative to the first jaw; and an articulating assembly (230) removably coupled to the proximal end of the jaw assembly, the articulating assembly including a distal joint member (232), a proximal joint member (234), and a pivot pin (505) fixedly coupled to the distal joint member (232) and rotatably coupled to the proximal joint member (234), wherein the jaw assembly and the distal joint member (232) define a first longitudinal axis extending between a proximal end of the jaw assembly and a distal end of the distal joint member (232), and the proximal joint member (234) defines a second longitudinal axis. The surgical device also includes a first rotatable drive shaft (220a) including a first gear element (504) meshingly engaged with a pivoting gear element fixedly coupled to the pivot pin (505), wherein rotational and longitudinal movement of the first rotatable drive shaft (220a) pivots the jaw assembly relative to the proximal joint member (232) about a pivot axis defined by the pivot pin (505) that is perpendicular to the first and second longitudinal axes.
