PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel automatic transmission device constituted of four planetary gear mechanisms, four clutches, and two brakes and improve power transmission efficiency.SOLUTION: An automatic transmission device comprises four single-pinion planetary gear mechanisms P1, P2, P3, and P4. Coupling elements R1 to R3 couple a carrier P12, a ring gear P33, and a carrier P42, a carrier P22 with a ring gear P43, and a ring gear P23 with a carrier P32, respectively. Clutches C1 to C4 connect a sun gear P11 to a sun gear P21, the sun gear P11 to the first coupling element R1, a sun gear P11 to a sun gear P31, and the second coupling element R2 to the sun gear P31, respectively. Brakes B1 and B2 connect the sun gears P21 and P41 to a case 2, an input shaft 3 is connected to the second coupling element R2, and an output gear 4 is connected to the ring gear P13. It is thereby possible to configure the automatic transmission device capable of changing gears to 10 forward stages and a backward stage. |
