<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high-resolution image by synthesizing a captured image with a CG image.SOLUTION: In separating a translucent area into a captured image and a CG image in a composite image formed by synthesizing the captured image reduced in horizontal and vertical size to half with the CG image, a difference between a pixel value of a pixel of interest and a pixel value of a peripheral pixel is calculated while changing anαvalue, to determine anαvalue having the minimum difference. The composite image is separated into the captured image and the CG image on the basis of theαvalue. A part of the composite image corresponding to the captured image is replaced with a captured image which is not reduced in information amount, to generate a high-resolution composite image.</p> |
