<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backing method and the like capable of performing backing automatically according to text regardless of thickness of the text, and improving production capacity.SOLUTION: In the backing method for performing backing of a back part 3a of a text 3 by bringing a backing member 22 moving so as to draw an arc-like locus into contact with the back part 3a of the text 3, thickness information of the text is acquired, and a movement range of the backing member 22 is adjusted based on the thickness information of the text 3, and the backing member 22 is moved by reciprocating motion between both side end parts of the back part 3a of the text 3 according to thickness of the text 3.</p> |
