摘要 The present invention provides a positioning device capable of increasing the amount of diametrical expansion of an engaging member tightly attached to a cylindrical hole in a workpiece and a positioning device capable of performing positioning with no downward force exerted on the workpiece. [Solution] A positioning device (5) is provided with an insertion shaft member (57), a hydraulic cylinder (61), a pair of engaging members (58), a taper engaging mechanism (59), and a mobile holding mechanism (60). The positioning device (5) is capable of positioning a cylindrical hole (Ha) in a workpiece (W) in a first direction that is orthogonal to a vertical shaft core (B) of the insertion shaft member (57), the positioning device (5) allows the movement of the cylindrical hole (Ha) in a second direction that is orthogonal to the shaft core and the first direction. The hydraulic cylinder (61) is capable of driving the insertion shaft member (57) up and down. The taper engaging mechanism (59) moves the insertion shaft member (57) downward using the hydraulic cylinder (61), thereby moving the pair of engaging members (58) toward a diameter expansion side. The mobile holding mechanism (60) supports the pair of engaging member (58) so as to be incapable of moving down, and holds the pair of engaging members (58) so as to be incapable of moving in the first direction but capable of moving in the second direction.
