PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railway swivel seat capable of protecting a rotational connection part which is a weak point of a swivel seat that is intended to reduce weight of a seat.SOLUTION: A railway swivel seat includes a leg stage fitted to a vehicle, a frame to which a seat part and a back part for supporting a human body are fitted, a connection part for connecting between the leg stage and the frame for rotation, and an impact absorbing member which is connected directly or indirectly to any one of the frame and the leg stage, and when the back of the frame receives load from behind to turn frontward with the connection part as a center, receives the load directly or indirectly from the other to plastically deform under the force in compression direction. |
