The invention relates to a method for determining an efficiency of a movement previously carried out on a patient during a radiotherapy session, which method is implemented by a data processing device from at least one treatment planning image and at least one treatment monitoring image. According to the invention, such a method comprises: - a phase of obtaining at least one position of a tumour structure within said monitoring image; - a first phase of calculating a movement of said tumour structure, delivering at least one piece of data representative of a repositioning that has been carried out; - a second phase of calculating a piece of data representative of an optimal repositioning; - a phase of comparing said at least one piece of data representative of a repositioning that has been carried out and said at least one piece of data representative of an optimal repositioning, delivering at least one indicator of efficiency of movement.
