PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic matching body capable of fully passing an acoustic coupling material between an outer surface and a soft object.SOLUTION: An acoustic lens member 22 serving as an acoustic matching body includes a convex-shaped curved surface 27 formed with buses extending in a first direction D1 in parallel with each other. A groove 28 is formed in the curved surface 27. The groove 28 is formed to trace a line of intersection between a plane, which crosses the buses of the curved surface 27, and the curved surface 27. The groove 28 functions as a passage of an acoustic coupling material (medium) such as water. Even when the curved surface 27 is abutted against a soft object, for example, a body surface, the acoustic coupling material such as water can be passed through the entire length of the passage. |
