PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device, an application operation device, and a method for controlling the electronic device that adaptively control display timing and detection timing.SOLUTION: An electronic device comprises: a sensor-integrated display panel that integrally has an operation surface for giving an operation input to a sensor and a display surface of an image; a data transfer device that inputs a display signal and a driving signal for the sensor to the sensor-integrated display panel, and receives a sensor output from the sensor; and an application operation device that time-divides display data as a source of the display signal, transmits it to the data transfer device, and transmits, to the data transfer device, timing information for inputting the driving signal to the sensor-integrated display panel in a blanking period of the time-divided display data. |
