PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article for preventing a package of crepe paper from being broken at a crotch part.SOLUTION: An absorbent article comprises: an absorption element 50 confining an absorber 56 in a package 58 made of crepe paper; a liquid-permeable top sheet 30 for covering the surface side of the absorption element 50; and a liquid-impermeable sheet 11 for covering the back side of the absorption element 50. The absorber 56 has its crotch part formed into a tying shape along legs. The portion corresponding to a tying portion 56N of the absorber 56 in the package 58 is formed with a surplus part 58A having not the absorber 56. The surplus part 58A of the package 58 is folded back to the surface side or the back side of the absorption element 50 thereby to form a folding part 58F. |
