PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic signal control system capable of securing the safety of pedestrians even when a signal light device is controlled based on a plurality of step signals.SOLUTION: The traffic signal control system comprises: a signal light device 23 for vehicles and a signal light device 24 for pedestrians which are installed at a cross point; and a signal control device 22 for switching operations in a plurality of directions of each signal light device by means of a plurality of step counters on the basis of a step signal for switching operations of the signal light device 23 for vehicles and the signal light device 24 for pedestrians. The signal control device 22 controls a travel indication operation in a straight and left turn directions of the signal light device 23 for vehicles and a travel indication operation of the signal light device 24 for pedestrians simultaneously. |
