<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that there is an inconvenience that impurities are introduced when an anode 102 is assembled by spot welding.SOLUTION: Vacuum fired and brazed (VFB) anode array elements (700, 800, 900, 902, 1100) are used for an ion pump. The VFB anode array elements include first VFB conduit anode elements (300, 704-720, 904-920, 922-964) and second VFB conduit anode elements (300, 704-720, 904-920, 922-964). Each second VFB conduit anode element is adjacent to respective each first VFB conduit anode element. Each first VFB conduit anode element is vacuum brazed together with respective each second VFB conduit anode element.</p> |
