The present invention relates to a repair method for splitting and painting a cross-section of a duct including water diverting of side arms. More specifically, the repair method includes: a process of washing a duct; a process of installing a stop gate at the upstream part of the duct after the process of washing the duct; a process of removing water from the upper part of the duct after the process of installing the stop gate at the upstream part of the duct; a process of implementing painting repair on the upper part of the duct after the process of removing water from the upper part of the duct; a process of implementing water diverting of side arms after the process of implementing painting repair on the upper part of the duct; a process of removing water from the lower part of the duct after the process of implementing water diverting of side arms; a process of implementing painting repair on the lower part of the duct after the process of removing water from the lower part of the duct; and a process of completing the repair after the process of implementing painting repair on the lower part of the duct. In addition, a partial repair process, a crack repair process, and a hot blast stiffening process are additionally included in the construction processes.
