PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To block an air conditioning duct powerlessly and without an artificial operation at the invasion of Tsunami.SOLUTION: A pipe conduit cutoff device 1 is arranged at, for example, a horizontal part of an introduction duct 2 arranged in a building, and blocks the introduction duct 2 at the invasion of Tsunami. A door stop 5 having a ventilation opening 5a at the center is arranged in a pipe conduit. A water block plate 6 which is lodged to a floor side in the pipe conduit at a normal time, and blocks the opening 5a of the door stop 5 by being erected with an end of a downstream side in the lodged state at a normal time as a pivot by buoyancy generated by sea water which intrudes into the pipe conduit, and dammed up at an external peripheral part of the door stop 5 at emergency is arranged in the vicinity of a face of an upstream side of the door stop 5. Weights 7 which are inverted to the erecting swiveling direction of the water block plate 6 at a start of the erection of the water block plate 6, and imparts moment in the erecting direction to the water block plate 6 are arranged at both ends of the downstream side being an erecting pivot of the water block plate 6. By this constitution, an air conditioning duct can be surely blocked and the intrusion of sea water into a room can be prevented powerlessly and without an artificial operation. |
