PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal composition which can be easily synthesized and has high crystallization suppressing performance.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal composition contains: a compound represented by the general formula (1); a compound represented by the general formula (2); a polymerizable compound having two (meth)acroyloxy groups; and a polymerization initiator. A polymer material and a film are formed by polymerizing the liquid crystal composition.
