摘要 <p>The present invention relates to an apparatus for controlling an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and a method thereof. The apparatus for controlling a UAV measures the altitude of a UAV, and generates relative determination information which measures relative determination with a landmark, real-time determination information which measures real-time determination of the UAV, ultrasonic measurement information which measures a distance from the landmark, and image information which photographs images of the landmark. In addition, the apparatus can control the landing of the UAV in the landmark using the position of the landmark and the distance from the landmark which are measured from at least two information among the relative determination information, the real-time determination information, the image information, and the ultrasonic measurement information by corresponding to comparison results between at least one preset reference height and the altitude of the UAV. Therefore, the apparatus can control the descending flight of a UAV to the landmark with high stability and accuracy by controlling the UAV based on the position value and the distance value calculated using different sensing information depending on the height.</p>
