<p>According to an aspect of the present invention, a method for detecting an input position on a display unit comprises the steps of: acquiring a surface image of the display unit; detecting main lines of a matrix in the surface image; detecting a brightness graph indicating brightness values of pixel blocks with respect to axial directions parallel with the respective main lines and vertically spaced apart from each other at regular intervals in each main line; detecting minimum points corresponding to sub lines of the matrix from the brightness graph; selecting any of the sub lines based on the detected minimum points; and extracting a unit input area for determining an input position pointed by an input device on the display unit by using the positions of the selected sub line.</p> |
