PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spectacle lens processing device capable of processing a spectacle lens efficiently.SOLUTION: The spectacle lens processing device comprises: a lens chuck unit for holding a spectacle lens; a processing unit having a processing tool for processing the spectacle lens held by the lens chuck unit; adjustment means for adjusting the relative distance between the spectacle lens and the processing tool; and control means for operating the adjustment means based on lens shape data. The spectacle lens processing device processes a peripheral edge of the spectacle lens. The control means controls relative speed when reducing the relative distance based on a measurement result from a measurement unit for measuring a first distance which is the distance from a central axis of the lens chuck unit to an edge of the spectacle lens before being processed and held by the lens chuck unit. |
