PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for processing food materials, capable of reliably and efficiently performing sterilization treatment of food materials, with suppressed treatment cost and treatment time.SOLUTION: At least a portion of food material is immersed in sterilization water W reserved in a sterilization container 3 having a drain outlet 11. While the sterilization water W is discharged to make a water flow, a part of the portion of the food material immersed in the sterilization water W is cut and separated in the vicinity of the drain outlet 11. |
