PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management device and the like which can provide a user with a book to browse preferentially among lent books.SOLUTION: A server which lends books to a user terminal has a browse DB which stores browse situations for each lent book to the user terminal for each user. The server has an identification part which detects a reservation request from the user terminal of a reservation requester of a book to be lent that is being lent by the user terminal, refers to the browse DB, and identifies browse situations of the book to be lent. The server has a distribution part which transmits to the user terminal borrowing the book to be lent messages, such as a confirmation message or priority message, related to the book to be lent on the basis of the identified browse situations of the book to be lent.
