<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can prevent occurrence of filming of a photoreceptor and reduce a wear amount of the photoreceptor and a wear amount of a blade, and thereby can form high-quality images for a long period.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes an image carrier, a charging means, a latent image forming means, a developing means, a transfer means for transferring a toner image on a surface of the image carrier to a transfer target body, and a cleaning means having a cleaning blade that is brought into contact with the surface of the image carrier to remove a residual toner attached to the surface of the image carrier. The toner includes, as an external additive, two or more types of inorganic fine particles having different average primary particle diameters, and an amount of the free inorganic fine particles is 3 mg or more relative to 1 g of the toner. The cleaning blade is composed of a strip-like elastic blade, and a contact part of the elastic blade to be in contact with the surface of the image carrier includes a hardened material of an ultraviolet-curing composition containing a (meth)acrylate compound having an alicyclic structure having 6 or more carbon atoms in a molecule.</p> |
