<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reproduction device, a remote operation device, and an image reproduction system capable of showing users character string data and advertisements having a sense of unity with a background image. <P>SOLUTION: An image reproduction device includes a control unit 40 for displaying a background image associated with karaoke music when outputting the karaoke music, and a transmission/reception unit 45 for receiving character string data transmitted from a remote operation device 5. In at least one object included in the background image, a text display area in which the character string data can be displayed is previously set.
