A wheel assembly having a brake function is disclosed. The disclosed wheel assembly having a brake function comprises a wheel cover (110) combined to legs (2) of a seat; a pair of wheels (120) combined to the wheel cover (110) with a shaft to be rotary at both inner sides of the wheel cover; a stopper guide (130) formed to protrude vertically downwards from the inside of the wheel cover (110) and having a vertically penetrating guide hole (131) inside thereof; a stopper (140) installed by penetrating the guide hole (131) to be capable of elevating and having a brake pad (142) in the lower part thereof which is selectively in contact with the ground; and a spring (150) elastically supporting elevation of the stopper (140) by being inserted into a spring groove (132) of the stopper guide (130).
