<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that an ultrasonic motor has a dead band upon its starting point, and is thereby not driven until a voltage signal greater than or equal to its minimum driving voltage is applied to its piezoelectric element, and thereby requires a high voltage inputted to the piezoelectric element upon its starting point, which prevents the motor from driving at a low speed. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided an ultrasonic motor including: a plurality of piezoelectric elements in which one or more slide chips are bonded on a first side surface thereof and one or more driving electrodes are formed on a second side surface thereof; and a case holding the plurality of piezoelectric elements, in which a voltage signal applied to the driving electrode of the at least one piezoelectric element is different from a voltage signal applied to the driving electrodes of the other piezoelectric elements. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
