The present invention provides a loading and unloading lift device for a freight car, comprising: a loading frame having a loading space for receiving freight therein and having at least one or more exits; leg members coupled to each corner of the loading frame; and a lifting member provided to the leg members and lifting the loading frame, wherein the leg member further includes vertical outer legs coupled to the loading frame and vertical inner legs provided in the outer legs so as to be withdrawn from or inserted into the outer legs by the lifting member, such that the loading frame can be lifted by the extension of the leg members. The outer legs and the loading frame are connected to each other by folding frames which are hinge-coupled to the loading frame at one end and fixedly coupled to the outer legs at the other end.
