<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer and a printing head set which can reduce a user's working burden. <P>SOLUTION: The user inputs a character code 126 (four coordinate values) described on a second printing head 122 in a printer 50 when replacing a first printing head 80 with the second printing head 122. The printer 50 generates n pieces of characteristic data corresponding to n pieces of nozzles formed in the second printing head 122 using the character code 126 inputted by the user. The printer 50 supplies the generated n pieces of characteristic data to a PC 10. The PC 10 carries out a process of compensation for the variability of discharging amounts of the n pieces of nozzles formed in the second printing head 122 using the n pieces of characteristic data supplied from the printer 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
