DOOR FOR CONSOLE BOX

A door (3) for a console box (1) has a door outer (10), a door inner (30) and a lock mechanism (40). The door inner (30) is mounted to the door outer (10), and has a pair of mounting walls (32). The lock mechanism (40) releasably locks the door (3) at a position where the door (3) closes an opening (2a) of a box main body (2) of the console box (1). The lock mechanism (40) has a knob (42) that is pivotably mounted between the pair of mounting walls and is operated when releasing the lock mechanism (40). The door outer (10) has a pair of ribs (42) that push the pair of mounting walls (32) away from each other to detach the knob (42) from the mounting walls (32) when the door outer (10) receives a shock toward the door inner (30).
