<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle auxiliary antenna unit, capable of eliminating trouble of a driver required to continuously pay attention to whether or not a genuine rod antenna is being expanded long, and capable of increasing the reception sensitivity of an on-vehicle genuine antenna. <P>SOLUTION: An auxiliary rod antenna 12 which is shorter and harder to be bent and broken than a genuine rod antenna 104 is attached to an auxiliary antenna cover 11. The auxiliary antenna cover is configured to cover a genuine antenna cover 103 having a genuine on-vehicle antenna 110 accommodated therein. By this, the driver is free from trouble of paying attention to whether or not the genuine rod antenna is being expanded long. Further, by the attachment of the auxiliary rod antenna, having higher reception sensitivity than the genuine rod antenna, to the auxiliary antenna cover 11, radio waves can be received even at a place of a bad radio wave condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
