<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector fastening device which precisely controls a torque for fastening a protector. <P>SOLUTION: The protector fastening device 1 includes a holding unit 3 which holds a screwed pipe 2, and a fastening body 4 which grips and rotates a protector 41 to screw it on a screw portion 21 of the screwed pipe 2. The fastening body 4 has a protector chuck 42 which chucks the protector 41, a servo motor 43 which rotates the protector chuck 42, and a control unit 44. The control unit 44 starts a torque control so as to keep a torque at a torque limit value when the torque reaches the preset torque limit value, starts rotation stopping control so as to reduce a set value for the rotating speed of the servo motor 43 to zero when a preset time has passed after the start of the torque control, and stops the torque control when the set value for the rotating speed of the servo motor 43 becomes zero. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
