<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage to the outer wall of an electric furnace of a reaction part without decrease in heating efficiency of the electric furnace. <P>SOLUTION: The periphery of a reactor core 41 is covered with an outer wall 44 composed of a thermal insulation material. The outer wall 44 comprises four members laminated in a vertical direction and buffer material 44a interposed between them and adhered with an adhesive.
