<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device which can contribute to improving image quality by resolving the problem of rotation with a developer at the end, while taking an advantage of a hollow, in such a system that a large number of hollows are formed on the surface of a developing sleeve. <P>SOLUTION: The angles of the hollows 139 (shown by hatching) only at the end of a hollow forming part on the developing sleeve 132 at the downstream in the conveyance direction of the developer are changed to a direction opposite to that of a group of hollows 139 inward from the end (central side in the axial direction of the sleeve). Thus, the conveyance direction of the developer on the developing sleeve at the end can be reversed so that the amount of the developer supplied to the end can be reduced and the rotation with the developer at the end hardly occurs. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
