The cover (10) has hard and soft plastic components (14, 16) with different hardness, where the cover consists of plastic coating. The plastic components enclose a handle of an operating tool. A damping element is provided for damping impacts or vibrations, which are transmitted over the handle. The damping element consists of a groove or a bar, which is arranged along an inner side of the plastic coating. The damping element contains of a set of burls, which are provided between the plastic covering and the handle. The damping element is arranged in a region of contact surfaces of a hand. |
