<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage-type water heating system that is user-friendly so that it is easy for a user to set the amount of hot water stored in a hot water storage tank, thus allowing no unnecessary boiling operation to be executed. <P>SOLUTION: The storage-type water heating system is provided for supplying hot water stored in a hot water storage tank to a hot water supply terminal. The storage-type water heating system includes: a maximum hot water storage amount setting unit through which a user can arbitrarily set an upper limit (maximum hot water amount) for the amount of hot water stored in the hot water storage tank within the range of the capacity of the hot water storage tank; a boiling unit for performing a boiling operation in which water in the hot water storage tank is heated by a heater so that the hot water storage tank stores the maximum amount of hot water; a minimum hot water storage amount setting unit through which a user can arbitrarily set an lower limit (minimum hot water amount) for the amount of hot water stored in the hot water storage tank within the range not exceeding the maximum hot water amount; and an additional boiling unit for performing a boiling operation when the amount of hot water stored in the hot water storage tank comes below the minimum hot water amount so that the hot water storage tank stores an additional hot water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
